What’s the Beams Down Payment and how Does It Work?

Renovating with Beams means that you’re supported throughout the entire process. You’ll benefit from a project management dashboard  and your own team of renovation experts to ensure that you’ll always be in the loop and in control of the project.

In order to provide you with that support and get work underway you need to make an initial down payment. This is the first of three payments you’ll make during the project. This payment is £2,500 for a bathroom and £4,000 for a kitchen.  It happens after we’ve performed a free, tailored  initial project estimate so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Here are some of the activities that are included in your down payment:

Site Survey

We perform a site survey to take detailed measurements and assess the plumbing and electrics. This includes an energy efficiency survey and report. This means that we can give you the most accurate designs possible and combine functionality with your desired aesthetics.

Three  Design Sessions

Ultimately it’s all about what you want from your space. We provide up to  three  design sessions with your dedicated designer to model your new room(s) in 3D and select finishes. This gives everyone an exact image of the work to be carried out, so that we’re all on the same page.

Procurement

We’ll take care of ordering and delivering materials straight to your door. These materials are sustainably sourced and made to your specifications. We choose the highest quality materials to ensure durability for your interiors.

Contractor Match

We match you with a Beams contractor who meets our exacting standards. These contractors are vetted and go through a 6-step onboarding process to ensure that they’re right for the job. If you feel that you don’t gel we’ll look to secure someone who does.

Project Management

We’ll notify you on the completion of each build milestone via your project dashboard and at the end of your build. We quality-check the work and only sign off when you’re happy. This means that you only have to be as involved as you want, giving you time back for other things in life.

Your Down Payment Unlocks the Project

Ultimately your down payment secures the work, it means we can talk to contractors, order materials and start working on designs with you. If you’d like to understand more about the work that we carry out, then feel free to drop us a message on our online chat.
