You might need to get permissions or permits before you embark on the Design phase of your home renovation project. (Additionally, once the Design has been signed off by the homeowner, the contractor will work on obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, which can vary in complexity and duration depending on the jurisdiction).
