Stoke Newington, N16

Ellie lives in a Grade II listed building in Stoke Newington. She wanted an airy Art Deco bathroom with a personal twist and plenty of storage space. Featuring classic marble features, this bathroom grounds a pretty-in-pink colour palette with striking geometric marble tiling.

Plan

Brooke planned Ellie’s renovation around her family’s busy travel schedule. As her home is a listed building, we worked with a conservation consultant to make sure none of the changes required planning permission.

Design

Simon worked with Ellie to create a bathroom that feels much larger and lighter that the original. Ellie’s love of vintage design had seen her fall in love with an antique triptych mirror, which Simon showcased to perfection. And Fred was delighted to get a sink deep enough for a decent shave.

Build

Beams paired Ellie and Fred with Tom and his team. Tom has 22 years experience. He’s been running his company since 2015, and has completed 150 bathrooms, as well as21 full home renovations. His customers compliment him for his attention to detail and punctuality, which was vital given Ellie and Freddie’s busy schedules.

Completion

A bathroom where every morning is a confetti-coloured delight. Luxurious Calcutta marble tiles, bespoke Carrara marble sinks and classic British brassware from Lefroy Brooks. All crowned by Ellie’s vintage triptych mirror.

On time and on budget

“Beams made renovating my bathrooms a real pleasure. They guided me through the whole process and matched me with a very trustworthy contractor. I felt in control and supported through the entire project. The finish on all three of our bathrooms is fantastic, we couldn't be happier!”
